Plushes galore!

I finally got some really good daytime pictures of all of the druid plushies I've been working on over the last two months, so be prepared for a massive photo dump inside.

The Tauren and Night Elf cats are from patterns in The A to Z of Soft Animals by Carolyn Hall, with modifications to make them Warcraft creatures. The Moonkin is my own pattern that I created from scratch.

Included within:
Horde - White Tauren lion, Tan Tauren lion
Alliance - Purple Night Elf nightsaber, Night Elf moonkin

White Tauren lion frightened the neighbor cat, haha. Look how poofy her tail and back are!

Sneaky white Tauren lion is sneaky in the grass.

White Tauren lion has cute light colored pawpads.

White Tauren lion also has a very poofy mane and fluffy toes. He has a squeaker in his head, too!

White Tauren lion, showing off his regal pose.

Tan Tauren lion has fluffier fur than the white one, and his crescent markings are placed a little farther back. He was the prototype, so he tail is also a little shorter.

Tan Tauren lion, other side. I shaved the fur on his face to define a smile a little more, which wasn't an option on the white one (the fur is already very, very short)

Goofy lion smile.

Tan Tauren lion has black pawpads!

Sneaky Night Elf kitty is sneaky, ans soft. The fur is a really dark purple, but definitely not black.

Daytime is really the only time I can get good pictures of the color of the Night Elf kitty.

Night Elf kitty has a very squeezy face. You can see the contrast of his black ears against the dark purple fur.

Night Elf kitty is sewn in a walking/sneaking pose, so one of his feet is lifted off of the ground. I shaved the fur down around his paws to show off his little grey/black pawpads better.

Night Elf kitty needs his collar, of course! These beads glow in the dark, too.

Alliance Moonkin, all finished! Love that really dark blue fur I used for his eyebrows and mustache.

Alliance Moonkin, full body. I used sculpey for the feet and hand claws this time around, just to see if I liked the results. I think it looks better than the fleece ones I did on the Horde and Pink plushes, but I guess it's up to the rest of the internet to judge. Artistic liberty with the colors on his medallions, too, I thought that sapphire blue really tied it all together. I put a squeaker in his chest, right under the center medallion, so he squeaks if squeeze him.

Alliance Moonkin, back, showing off his very fluffy tail.

Owlbear hands! Sculpey claws affixed with a flexible glue.

heyas! i saw your adorable plushies in wow-ladies and just had a quick question. i love the nelf cat, and I was wondering your costs for doing a custom one that looks like my kitty (used to be darker, but is now a purple-pink) while it's sitting down. thanks!

Unfortunately I'm not open for commissions at this time. I've got a couple other projects on my plate right now, and I'd hate to make you wait forever for me to finish them.

Also, I don't have a sitting pattern yet, although I am trying to come up with one for bear druids soon!

So awesome! I just saw your horde cat form on Desert Bus for Hope! Any chance you'd ever be open for commissions, or selling the plushies you make? :) I also saw the many sitting kitty druid forms, and the black horde one caught my eye as it's my druid's colors. Thanks, and love your work!

Re: Awesome!
Hello! Thanks for your interest. Unfortunately, I can't sell these guys privately. I'm apparently being featured in the official World of Warcraft magazine, and part of the agreement was that I wouldn't sell them, as it's making a profit off of their copyright, and being published in the magazine would be the world's best free publicity.

What I would like to do is publish tutorials for all of my little plushes, so people are able to make their own! First up will be the little sitting kittens (featured on http://wow.joystiq.com today), and following that will probably be my moonkins.

Thank you for the kind words. One of the most important reasons I make these little guys is to make people smile, and I was overjoyed that the brown Tauren lion brought in as much as he did for Child's Play. My guild even delayed the start of raid tonight so we could all watch the live auction, in fact!

Re: Awesome!
I LOVELOVELOVE your moonkin. I am really excited for a tutorial on it...I love to sew...but about the only thing I can draft a pattern on is clothing...and simplish clothing at that. there's something about 3D stuffed animals that I have trouble with....and the thought of having a fluffy moonkin to add to my wow-is-cool collection is awsome!

Hi sorry to LJ bomb....are you open for commissions now? My whole family play WoW (I'm 30 to give a prospective) and my Mom loves the moonkin form and I would like to get her a stuffed moonkin for Christmas or somesuch (possibly her birthday if the price means I need to save for it). I have seen your Moonkins forever now (as a member of wow_ladies) and I just know she would be over the moon (harhar) to have one.

You can e-mail me at jubilie2 at hotmail dot com.

Thank you,
